Fortress Minerals Corp. is a publicly held Canadian base and precious metal exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "FST". The Company's projects are located in Russia, Mongolia and Nicaragua.
In Russia, Fortress is focused on the Svetloye gold project located in the Russian Far East. The project is approximately 750km west of Magadan, Russia, close to the port of Okhotsk and is accessed by winter road or by helicopter. Fortress can earn up to an 80% interest in the Svetloye project from Phelps Dodge. Phelps Dodge was active at Svetloye for two field seasons (2003 and 2004) and identified a 7 square kilometer zone of epithermal gold mineralization. Twenty-eight drill holes (3,687 m) and approximately 550m of surface trenching by Phelps Dodge had identified seven targets within the Svetloye license: Elena, Larissa, Tamara, Gorki, Ludmilla Bill and Amy. Fortress has initiated an aggressive trenching and drilling program to further evaluate the project.
In Mongolia, Fortress holds over 2.5 million hectares of copper and gold exploration properties that is subject to a strategic alliance agreement with Freeport McMoRan.
In Nicaragua, the Company holds a large land package of prospective gold exploration properties.

Fortress Minerals Corp. is a Canadian precious and base metals exploration company. The Company's mission is to build an international portfolio of large-scale gold and base metal exploration projects and to aggressively explore these projects with the ultimate objective of developing world-class mining operations.

Message to shareholders from the Second Quarter 2007
To Our Shareholders,
Drilling is progressing well at the Fortress Minerals Corp's ("Fortress" or the "Company's") Svetloye gold project in the Russian Far East. As of the 18th of August, the Company had completed approximately 6,150 metres at the Elena, Tamara and Amy targets this year. In addition to the drill program, over 62,700 cubic metres of trenching has also been completed this year. Partial results from the 2007 drill program will be available shortly.
Work on the Svetloye project has identified 7 key targets within a 7-square-kilometre zone of epithermal gold mineralization. Gold is associated with extensive zones of vuggy silica, alunite and late stage veins. This style of mineralization is common to Pierina, Veladero and other high sulphidation epithermal deposits. The current drill program will be directed principally at the Elena, Tamara and Amy prospects, while reconnaissance drilling will test the other four targets.

Message to shareholders from the First Quarter 2007
To Our Shareholders,
During the first quarter of 2007, Fortress Minerals Corp. ("Fortress" or the "Company") continued drilling and trenching programs on its 51% owned Svetloye project, located in the Far East of Russia. The remaining 49% is held by Phelps Dodge Exploration Company. Mobilization of supplies was completed in early April and drilling with two drills has been underway since early March of this year. So far in 2007, a total of approximately 2,300 metres has been drilled at the Elena and Tamara targets and drilling is continuing on the Elena target. The results from the 14 remaining drill holes from the 2006 drill program and initial results from this year's program are anticipated to be released within the next two to three weeks. The Company is planning to complete over 11,000 metres of drilling, over 11 kilometres of trenching and additional field work in 2007. When completed, this will fulfill the Company's requirements for earning an 80% interest in the project. Drilling will be directed principally at the Elena, Tamara and Amy prospects, while reconnaissance drilling will test the other four targets.
