Ron F. Hochstein
Position: Chairman

Ron Hochstein, P.Eng., has a wealth of experience in the mining industry. He was previously with Simons Mining Group, an internationally recognized engineering company where he was involved in the financial analysis of a number of major projects. He is much traveled, having worked in the mining industry in consulting, operations and management in the U.S., Canada, South America and Africa. He has also spent time in the oil and gas industry, working early in his career for Brenda Oil and Gas and North Canadian Oils. Mr. Hochstein has a B.Sc. in metallurgical engineering and an MBA. Mr. Hochstein is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Denison Mines Corp and director of Atacama Minerals Corp.

 
Lukas H. Lundin
Position: President, CEO & Director

Mr. Lundin is known for recognizing value and superior global investment opportunities in the natural resource sector. His uninhibited pursuit of highly prospective properties around the world has resulted in numerous resource discoveries, including the multi-million ounce Veladero gold discovery. Mr. Lundin has also led several companies through highly profitable business acquisitions and mergers such as Lundin Mining's $3.3 billion merger with EuroZinc Mining, and most recently the $2 billion sale of Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. Mr. Lundin is a graduate of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He currently sits on the Board of a number of publicly traded companies.

 
Ryan Torvik
Position: Chief Financial Officer

Born in Canada in 1974, Ryan Torvik is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained a bachelor of commerce degree. He worked for KPMG in the areas of audit and advisory services from 1997 to 2001. From 2002 until 2005, he worked overseas in a number of positions, including Audit Manager and Acting Chief Investigator for the Government of the Federated States of Micronesia. Mr. Torvik has over 10 years of financial management experience and has been the Chief Financial Officer for Fortress since June 2007.

 
Eira Thomas
Position: Director

Eira Thomas is a respected Canadian geologist with a highly successful career in the mining industry. She served as a geologist with Aber Resources Ltd. (now Harry Winston Diamond Corporation) from 1992 to 1997, leading the field exploration team that discovered the Diavik Diamond Project pipes in the Northwest Territories in 1994 and 1995. She was promoted to Vice-President Exploration for Aber in 1997, a post she held for two years. She served as a director of Aber Diamond Corporation from April 1998 to August 2006. Ms. Thomas is also a director of a number of other public companies and organizations.

 
Rick Bailes
Position: Director

Mr. Bailes has over 30 years experience in the mining industry. He has previously held senior positions with Abermin Corporation, Pan Ocean Oil Ltd, and Kennecott Copper. He holds a B.Sc. (1968) from McGill University and an M.Sc. (1975) from the University of Manitoba. Mr. Bailes has a solid background in the evaluation and development of mineral projects and has published a number of papers on economic geology. Mr. Bailes has been a director of Fortress Minerals Corp. since June 2005.

 
Jim Cambon
Position: Director

Mr. Cambon has nineteen years international business development and project management experience in the mineral exploration, consulting and engineering industries. He has worked extensively in both Russia and Mongolia. For the past seven years he has held the position of Honorary Consul for Mongolia in British Columbia and has been involved in the Mongolian minerals sector since 1989. Mr. Cambon has been a director of Fortress since March 2006.

 
Ian Gibbs
Position: Director

Born in Canada in 1968, Ian Gibbs is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Calgary where he obtained a bachelor of commerce degree. He worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the areas of audit and taxation from 1991 to 1995. From 1996 until 1999, he worked in Nizhnevartovsk, Russia as the Chief of International Finance for a subsidiary of Canadian Fracmaster, a Canadian company providing services to the Russian oil and gas industry. From 2000 to 2004 Mr. Gibbs worked in Almaty, Kazakhstan as the Country Controller and Business Systems Manager for First International Oil Corporation, a private U.S. oil and gas exploration and production company. Mr. Gibbs was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Valkyries Petroleum Corp. prior to its takeover by Lundin Petroleum AB in 2006 and has been a director of Fortress Minerals Corp. since June 2005.

 
Alexander Kim
Position: Director

Mr. Alexander Kim is currently the Managing Director of Vostok Nafta's Moscow office. Previously, he held the position of Head of Project Development with IFC Metropol, a Russian financial and investment group. He was responsible, among other things, for establishing a joint venture with Lundin Mining Corporation to develop the Ozernoe deposit in East Siberia, one of the largest undeveloped zinc/lead deposits in the world. Mr. Kim also served as a member of the Board of Directors of MBC (East Siberian Metals), IFC Metropol's subsidiary management company for mining projects. Prior to this, Mr. Kim worked as Director of Equity Strategy at Renaissance Capital from 2004-2005 and Senior Equity Strategy analyst at Morgan Stanley from 1996-2001. From 2001-2003 Mr. Kim was an adviser to the Head of the Economic Department of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. He is a graduate of Moscow State University and has an MBA from Oxford University in United Kingdom.

 
I.Rodrigo A. Romo
Position: Corporate Secretary

Mr. Romo holds a two-year Diploma of Technology in Financial Management (Professional Accounting Option) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (1993) and a two-year Diploma of Paralegal Studies from Capilano University's Institute of Paralegal Studies (2000).

From September 2001 until July 2009, Mr. Romo was the in-house Securities and Corporate Paralegal for Quorum Management & Administrative Services Inc. ("Quorum"), a private company, which provides management, administrative, legal, geological and other services to a number publicly traded mineral exploration companies. Mr. Romo also acted as the Corporate Secretary for two of the Quorum group of companies, namely, Emgold Mining Corporation and ValGold Resources Ltd. Prior to joining Quorum, Mr. Romo was a Securities and Corporate Paralegal with the law firm of Lang Michener LLP.
